Players will move up divisions once they have a birthday that qualifies them for the next group. Players may play up a division but not down. Points earned in an age division will stay in that division and do not carry over.

Our events are open to junior golfers who are under the age of 19. To maintain the spirit of junior competition, players must meet both the age requirement and the amateur/student status

Players are eligible to compete up until their 19th birthday.

  • Example: If a player turns 19 on the second day of a three-day tournament, they are ineligible to start that event.

No. Regardless of age, any golfer who has enrolled in and started attending classes at a college or university is not eligible to compete. Our tournaments are strictly reserved for pre-collegiate junior golfers.

Yes, provided you have not yet started college. If you are taking a "gap year" or have graduated but remain under 19, you are eligible until you begin your collegiate career or hit your 19th birthday.

No. Simply signing an NLI does not disqualify you. You only become ineligible once you officially begin your first semester of college.

Yes. Players may elect to compete in an older age division for the entire season if eligible and approved by the tour.

However, points earned while playing up will only count in the division in which the player is competing and will not be combined with points earned in any other age division.

If it is determined that a player has competed in an age division for which they were not eligible, all points earned in that division will be forfeited for every event played while in the incorrect age division.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Playing in a younger age division after aging into an older division
  • Registering in an incorrect division due to an error or oversight

It is the responsibility of the player and parent/guardian to ensure the player is registered and competing in the correct age division for each event.

Eligibility issues must be reported prior to the Tour Championship
