Frequently Asked Questions

The Logistics Rule: While we attempt to fill spots based on the order in which registrations are received, this is not always possible due to tournament logistics and pace of play.

Division & Pairing Match: To maintain fair play, a waitlisted player must be a logistical fit for the specific opening available (matching the correct age group, division, or flight). If an opening does not match your player's division, we will bypass it to find the first player who fits.

The Scramble/Specialty Event Exception: For our specialty formats (such as the Caddie & Kid event), field logistics are even more precise. While teams compete against each other overall, players must play from their designated age-group tees. Therefore, when a vacancy opens, directors will select the waitlisted player who correctly fits that team's designated tee box and flight requirements, regardless of their position on the waitlist.

Specialty Event Loyalty Tie-Breaker: Specifically for our specialty/scramble events, if tournament logistics between waitlisted players are completely identical (e.g., multiple players fit the exact same tee box and flight opening), priority preference will be given to players who have participated in more standard tour events throughout the current season.

The No-Show Impact: Because our events are tightly capped and operate with active waitlists, late cancellations and no-shows directly impact players waiting for a spot. If you are registered but can no longer attend, you must notify us immediately so we can offer that spot to a waitlisted player. Please see our No-Show Policy for details on penalties and how late drops affect future tournament eligibility.

Tournament directors reserve full discretion over all field adjustments to ensure smooth and timely tournament operations.

Event Overview: What is it? The Caddie and a Kid event is a fun, competitive 18-hole tournament designed as a special reward and a day of celebration for the adults who invest in our junior golfers, both on and off the course.

Format: A 2-player scramble event where a junior golfer teams up with an adult caddie.

Duration: 18 holes.

Prizes: Awards and bragging rights will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Rules & Eligibility

Caddie Requirement: The adult caddie must be at least two years removed from high school.

Divisions & Flighting: All participants will compete against each other in the same overall division or flight. However, for tournament logistics and efficiency, we will attempt to pair flights based on divisions.

Tee Boxes: To keep the competition fair across a single division, junior players will get to play from their standard tournament tee boxes.

Golf Carts: A golf cart is included for the round, meaning everyone will be riding.

Equipment: Because carts are provided, players do not need to bring their own push or pull carts.
